Challenges in the Healthcare Sector

Despite being a serious medical concern, chronic wounds are an area with almost no specialized treatment centers in Turkey.

The country still lacks a fully equipped hospital dedicated to burn and wound care, which means that many patients cannot access advanced treatments.

According to World Health Organization data, nearly 1 million patients around the world face the risk of limb loss due to non-healing wounds each year.

This gap not only negatively impacts patient outcomes, but also represents a missed opportunity for health tourism, as many patients are forced to seek better care abroad.
